Our names are Roger and Julie, and we’re the third generation of the Palau family, which has been at the head of Jopa Nàutica since 1936.
When you come to Jopa, you’ll feel right at home because we know what our customers value the most: family-like treatment and constant support. All you have to do is to get your loved ones together and set sail.

Our story began in L’Escala more than 80 years ago.
Our grandfather, Joaquim Palau, founded Jopa Náutica in 1936 as a naval engineering company.
He designed and manufactured small engines that were sold for three decades from Port Bou to Algeciras.
In the 70s, his son Abel took the reins and built our current facilities, specializing in recreational boating.
Now we’re the ones our family’s story with Roger Palau, mechanical engineer, leading the way.
